About the Class
Our Social Sewing Evenings are relaxed, friendly sessions designed for anyone who loves making. Bring along your own project, settle in, and enjoy time to sew, chat, and connect with other like-minded makers. These sessions are all about enjoying your craft in good company. Whether you usually sew alone at home or are looking to meet new people who share your interests, this is a welcoming space to spend time working on your own projects while being part of a creative community. What to expect This is a bring-your-own-project session. You can work on whatever you like, including dressmaking, quilting, embroidery, knitting, crochet, or other textile-based crafts. There is no fixed project or structured teaching. You will need to be confident working independently on your own project, but a tutor will be on hand if you get stuck or need a second opinion. The Social Sewing Evening is a shorter, evening session, ideal if you’re looking to unwind after the work day and enjoy a few hours of sewing in a relaxed, sociable setting. One of the biggest benefits of our Social Sewing sessions is access to our fully equipped sewing studio – perfect if you don’t have the space or equipment at home. This is a great opportunity to use the time to get jobs done that are awkward at home, such as cutting out garments without resorting to the kitchen floor. During the session you will have access to: Large stand-up cutting tables Sewing machines and overlockers A coverstitch machine An electric bias binder machine Plus so much more! Having the space and equipment on hand makes sewing easier, more enjoyable, and far more efficient. If you've a project you've been avoiding of you've lost your sewjo our social sewing evenings are the perfect way to dedicate some time to get back into your hobby whilst working alongside some fabulous people. What to bring: Your own project and all materials required Any tools or equipment you normally use for your craft

Cancellation Policy
By booking a course or workshop with Ready Steady Sew, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us prior to booking. Please head to the Cancellation Policy header in the menu tab to view our full policy. Cancellation Due to Non-Attendance We understand that sometimes circumstances change, but we ask for your cooperation with our cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 14 working days before the course start date to receive a full refund. 14 days or less notice: 50% of the course fee will be refunded. 7 days or less before the course start date: 100% of the course fee will be charged Non-attendance without prior notice will result in no refund. To cancel your place, please email us at readysteadysew@hotmail.com as soon as possible. All cancellations must be received in writing via email. Refunds will be processed the same day that you request it. However, please note that the processing time is dependent on Wix Payments (our payment provider) and your bank. We have no control over how long it takes for the funds to appear in your account, but it can take up to 20 business days in total, depending on your bank's processing times. No Refunds for Partially Attended Courses There will be no refunds for partially attended courses. If you decide that the course is not for you after attending part of it, you will not be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to make sure the course is right for you before booking. Transfers to Future Classes If you need to transfer to a future class, you must notify us at least 14 working days before the class start date. Unfortunately, we cannot accept transfer requests within 14 days of the class start date. We are unable to transfer bookings after this time frame as it's not long enough for us to refill your spot, and it takes a spot away from a future student. As a small business, we rely on full classes to remain sustainable, and offering transfers to everyone who requests them would result in under-booked classes. We encourage you to ensure you're available for the dates of the course you book. Once a spot is reserved, it is committed to you, and we cannot accommodate changes to future sessions regardless of the reason.
