Freelance Sewing Tutors

Are you passionate about your craft and eager to share your skills with others? Ready Steady Sew, a fun and fast-growing dressmaking and sewing school, is looking for creative freelance tutors to join our team! You don’t need previous teaching experience – we welcome applicants with a strong skillset in their craft and the desire to inspire and help others develop their skills.

​

We are looking for tutors who can teach dressmaking, pattern cutting, soft furnishings and those interested in teaching children’s creative classes.

​

What We’re Looking For:

• Enthusiastic, kind, and confident leaders who can teach up to 12 students in a class.

• Tutors who are vibrant, fun, and passionate about helping students learn and have a great time.

• Someone who is reliable and can commit to teaching, with classes generally running in 4, 6, or 8-week blocks, or one-off full-day or two-day classes.

• Availability for daytime, evening, or weekend classes (doesn’t need to be all three).

• A driver with access to a car – our studio is located at Unit 3A, Broad Oak Farm Business Park, near Whitchurch, Wrexham, SY13 3AQ, so you must be able to travel to our location.

• Competitive remuneration starting at £15ph to be negotiated based on experience and skill level.
