Step into the world of fashion this summer with our inspiring Teen Fashion School – a week-long creative adventure where you’ll design, sew, and showcase your very own garments, just like a real designer. This immersive 5-day experience takes you on the full journey of a fashion designer — from idea to runway — with expert guidance from tutors who have studied at top fashion universities such as the London College of Fashion and worked for industry giants like the Royal Opera House, West End shows and Vogue Magazine! 🧠 Be Inspired We kick off with moodboarding, trend spotting and sketching your design ideas. You'll learn how to turn inspiration into stylish, original concepts using fashion illustration techniques. ✂️ Design & Plan Explore how fashion designers create, source and adapt dressmaking patterns. You'll learn how to tweak them to match your vision, add custom features, and make your garment totally you. 🛍️ Fabric Shopping Trip A real designer needs real fabric — so we’re heading out to a local fabric store! Learn how to choose the perfect prints, textures and colours to bring your ideas to life. 🧵 Learn to Sew Back in the studio, it's time to turn your ideas into reality. You’ll master the sewing machine and even get hands-on with an overlocker to give your garment a professional finish. We’ll guide you every step of the way, from cutting fabric to final stitching. 🎨 Bonus Specialist Workshop You’ll take part in a specialist session (details coming soon!) to explore an exciting area of fashion or textiles in more depth — a real behind-the-scenes glimpse into the industry. ✨ Fashion Show Finale After five fun and fast-paced days, you’ll debut your finished look in our mini fashion show for friends and family! Cancellation Policy
By booking a course or workshop with Ready Steady Sew, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us prior to booking. Please head to the Cancellation Policy header in the menu tab to view our full policy. Cancellation Due to Non-Attendance We understand that sometimes circumstances change, but we ask for your cooperation with our cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 14 working days before the course start date to receive a full refund. 14 days or less notice: 50% of the course fee will be refunded. 7 days or less before the course start date: 100% of the course fee will be charged Non-attendance without prior notice will result in no refund. To cancel your place, please email us at readysteadysew@hotmail.com as soon as possible. All cancellations must be received in writing via email. Refunds will be processed the same day that you request it. However, please note that the processing time is dependent on Wix Payments (our payment provider) and your bank. We have no control over how long it takes for the funds to appear in your account, but it can take up to 20 business days in total, depending on your bank's processing times. No Refunds for Partially Attended Courses There will be no refunds for partially attended courses. If you decide that the course is not for you after attending part of it, you will not be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to make sure the course is right for you before booking. Transfers to Future Classes If you need to transfer to a future class, you must notify us at least 14 working days before the class start date. Unfortunately, we cannot accept transfer requests within 14 days of the class start date. We are unable to transfer bookings after this time frame as it's not long enough for us to refill your spot, and it takes a spot away from a future student. As a small business, we rely on full classes to remain sustainable, and offering transfers to everyone who requests them would result in under-booked classes. We encourage you to ensure you're available for the dates of the course you book. Once a spot is reserved, it is committed to you, and we cannot accommodate changes to future sessions regardless of the reason.
