About the Class
Take your sewing to the next level with beautifully matched patterns. Learn the secrets to aligning stripes, checks, and prints in this practical, hands-on workshop. Whether you're working with bold florals or classic gingham, you'll leave feeling confident to plan, cut and sew with precision — no more mismatched seams or disappearing motifs! This 4-hour session is perfect for confident beginners and up. You’ll work with a variety of fabrics and learn professional tips for getting a clean, cohesive finish in your sewing projects. ✂️ What you’ll learn: How to identify repeat patterns and print direction Techniques for matching prints across seams and centre fronts Tips for placing and matching patch pockets and panels Cutting and pinning techniques that make all the difference When it’s okay not to match – and how to do it smartly You’ll make a series of sample pieces using different printed fabrics to help you practise your new skills — perfect to refer back to at home. Cancellation Policy
By booking a course or workshop with Ready Steady Sew, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us prior to booking. Please head to the Cancellation Policy header in the menu tab to view our full policy. Cancellation Due to Non-Attendance We understand that sometimes circumstances change, but we ask for your cooperation with our cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 14 working days before the course start date to receive a full refund. 14 days or less notice: 50% of the course fee will be refunded. 7 days or less before the course start date: 100% of the course fee will be charged Non-attendance without prior notice will result in no refund. To cancel your place, please email us at readysteadysew@hotmail.com as soon as possible. All cancellations must be received in writing via email. Refunds will be processed the same day that you request it. However, please note that the processing time is dependent on Wix Payments (our payment provider) and your bank. We have no control over how long it takes for the funds to appear in your account, but it can take up to 20 business days in total, depending on your bank's processing times. No Refunds for Partially Attended Courses There will be no refunds for partially attended courses. If you decide that the course is not for you after attending part of it, you will not be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to make sure the course is right for you before booking. Transfers to Future Classes If you need to transfer to a future class, you must notify us at least 14 working days before the class start date. Unfortunately, we cannot accept transfer requests within 14 days of the class start date. We are unable to transfer bookings after this time frame as it's not long enough for us to refill your spot, and it takes a spot away from a future student. As a small business, we rely on full classes to remain sustainable, and offering transfers to everyone who requests them would result in under-booked classes. We encourage you to ensure you're available for the dates of the course you book. Once a spot is reserved, it is committed to you, and we cannot accommodate changes to future sessions regardless of the reason.
