About the Class
Love the look of granny squares but not sure how to get started? This workshop is for you! In this 3-hour session, you'll learn how to crochet classic granny squares as well as explore more decorative designs – think flowers, hearts, and beyond. You’ll be able to choose which style you’d like to focus on, with guidance tailored to your experience level. We’ll cover: 🧶 How to read simple granny square patterns 🧶 Working in the round and changing colours 🧶 Tips for keeping your squares neat and even 🧶 More advanced motifs (like floral and heart-shaped designs) for those ready to take the next step Granny squares and granny stitch are incredibly versatile – once you’ve mastered a few, you can use them to make everything from blankets and cushions to bags, scarves, and clothing. Take a look at the images on this page for just a few ideas of what you can create! This workshop is ideal if you already know the basics of crochet and want to build on your skills. You’ll leave with at least one finished square, plenty of inspiration, and the confidence to keep going on your own. All materials are included – just bring yourself and your creativity! Level: Suitable for confident beginners (must know how to chain and work basic stitches)

Cancellation Policy
By booking a course or workshop with Ready Steady Sew, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us prior to booking. Cancellation Due to Non-Attendance We understand that sometimes circumstances change, but we ask for your cooperation with our cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 14 working days before the course start date to receive a full refund. 14 days or less notice: 50% of the course fee will be refunded. 7 days or less before the course start date: 100% of the course fee will be charged Non-attendance without prior notice will result in no refund. To cancel your place, please email us at readysteadysew@hotmail.com as soon as possible. All cancellations must be received in writing via email. Refunds will be processed the same day that you request it. However, please note that the processing time is dependent on Wix Payments (our payment provider) and your bank. We have no control over how long it takes for the funds to appear in your account, but it can take up to 20 business days in total, depending on your bank's processing times. No Refunds for Partially Attended Courses There will be no refunds for partially attended courses. If you decide that the course is not for you after attending part of it, you will not be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to make sure the course is right for you before booking. Transfers to Future Classes If you need to transfer to a future class, you must notify us at least 14 working days before the class start date. Unfortunately, we cannot accept transfer requests within 14 days of the class start date. We are unable to transfer bookings after this time frame as it's not long enough for us to refill your spot, and it takes a spot away from a future student. As a small business, we rely on full classes to remain sustainable, and offering transfers to everyone who requests them would result in under-booked classes. We encourage you to ensure you're available for the dates of the course you book. Once a spot is reserved, it is committed to you, and we cannot accommodate changes to future sessions regardless of the reason.
