Vlieseline’s Formband T12 is a high-quality fusible bias stay tape, reinforced with a fine chain stitch to help keep your fabric in shape without compromising on drape.
 
Designed to add structure where it counts — think necklines, armholes, and curved hems — this 12 mm wide tape is ideal for use with soft, lightweight to medium-weight fabrics.
 
Key Features:
Cut on the bias with stabilising stitch: Allows for gentle stretch while preventing distortion on curves and diagonals.
Fusible backing: Simply iron on with a dry heat (around 8 seconds) to secure the tape in place before stitching.
Sew-in stability: For extra reinforcement, sew just behind the chain stitch once the tape is fused — especially useful on high-stress areas like necklines.
Precise application: The chain stitch is positioned 4 mm in from one edge, making it easy to align and sew accurately.
Soft yet supportive: Adds structure without stiffness, making it perfect for garments like blouses, dresses, waistcoats, and more.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class II certified: Made from 83% polyamide and 17% polyester, with 15% recycled fibres.
