The Janome Atelier 8 is the new flagship model in Janome’s Atelier range, designed for sewists who want a machine that can keep up as their skills and projects grow.
With 210mm of space to the right of the needle, 350 built-in stitches, 11 one-step buttonholes and a large high-definition colour touchscreen, the Atelier 8 gives you plenty of room and control whether you’re making clothes, quilting or taking on larger sewing projects.
One of the standout features is Janome’s AcuFeed Flex feeding system, which helps to keep multiple layers of fabric moving smoothly and evenly. The new Floating Mode gives you additional control over the presser foot pressure when sewing straight stitches, making it particularly useful when working with different fabric weights and layers.
The Atelier 8 also features Janome’s new A.S.R. (Accurate Stitch Regulator), giving you greater control when free-motion quilting and ruler work. The machine includes a ruler work foot, and its passive mode can stop the needle when your fabric stops moving.
For everyday sewing, the Atelier 8 has plenty of thoughtful features designed to make sewing easier. The one-touch straight stitch needle plate conversion lets you switch from zig zag to straight stitch without reaching for a screwdriver, while the automatic presser foot lift, superior needle threader, bobbin thread sensor and automatic thread cutter take care of some of the fiddly jobs for you.
